Cokie the Clown at SXSW (March 2010)

22 04 2010

This is for NOFX fans.

Fat Mike did a show dressed as his alter ego Cokie the Clown a few months ago. Granted the event took place in March, I still think this is a pretty fucked up video that is worth seeing. Mike pretty much aired out a lot of dirty laundry at the set, telling some pretty graphic stories from his past.

This is a 40 minute video. And it is pretty depressing and disturbing.

But if you’re a NOFX, Fat Mike or punk rock fan, it’s worth checking out in my opinion. Props to HitTheFloor for the link!

NoFX: Never Trust a Hippy (EP)

11 12 2009

Hey everyone.. I know it’s been a few days – I’m in the middle of exam period though so my time between studying and work and exams is tight haha.. holidays are comin’ up though so I plan to post a bunch of new content. I’d just like to say.. I’m approaching 200 total views in about a week or so. I know for some people or their blogs that may not seem like much.. but I really do appreciate all the views I have gotten so far and would like to thank anybody that has seen the site.. has returned to the site.. or has ever read any of my posts. Thank you!

Okay, so I’m on a bit of a NoFX kick right now. I’m not going to sit here and tell you I’m an authority on Nofx or punk rock at all. One of my closest friends is huge into punk and he got me into some punk and ska this past summer.. including Nofx. So this is one of my fav albums by them.. although it is just a 6-track EP. I’ve listened to this album on repeat countless times since the summer haha.. it’s worth checkin’ out in my opinion. Read the rest of this entry »
