Girl Talk: Night Ripper

I just wanted to pass along an interesting album I have that some of you may be interested in (or may have heard in the past). The album is called Night Ripper and is from Pittsburgh-native Gregg Gillis aka Girl Talk. Essentially his music is a giant collection of lawsuits waiting to happen. Gillis makes his music based on mash-ups and mixing samples together. He doesn’t just throw a set of vocals over an isntrumental tho.. he chops and slices up different elements of like 15-20 other tracks per song. Definitely an interesting listen for someone who’s puffin’ on the herb or for anyone that wants to get pumped up before going out to the club.. definitely fun to listen to. Night Ripper is Girl Talk’s third album, he also has a few EPs and compilation albums.
